Adoption Social Worker
Heather has worked in the field of adoption since 2006 and at CFS since 2008. She works with adoptive parents during the home study and post placement supervision phases. Heather holds a Bachelor degree in social work from Avila University and a Masters degree in social work from the University of Kansas. Her passion for adoption was ignited in 2004 when she first volunteered at an orphanage in central China. Since that time, Heather has returned to China for three additional trips and has worked in over a dozen orphanages. In addition to working at CFS, Heather serves as the Director of Donor Services at Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Director of Hope’s Heart Orphan Foundation and is a certified pet therapy team with her dog, Paisleigh.
