We are Koy and Alyssa and we grew up in the same small town. A random meeting led to a first date, which led to a proposal and eventually marriage. Starting a family was part of our plan since day one. Koy has always had a natural way of connecting with children. For Alyssa, being a mother is engrained in every fiber of her being. Becoming parents has been difficult. Years of infertility treatments, with excitements followed by letdowns, led to an overwhelming fear that the dream might not come true. We started our adoption journey and then learned we were pregnant and were blessed with a son. Elias (1.5) has been patiently awaiting a promotion to big brother. We feel God’s presence every step of the way as we feel hopeful to add to our family by adoption. Your child will have a wonderful big brother and a life-long best friend.
