Christian Family Services and their counselors prepared me for every step of the journey by ensuring I was clear on legalities and procedures as well as providing counseling before, during, and after the adoption. It’s vital to have a company that can answer questions you didn’t know you should ask and be a safe place to process all the emotions that come with adoption.
I continue to maintain a relationship with my social worker at Christian Family Services and I know she will always provide strength and calm for me. There will still be hard days after the adoption is over and having an open line with a social worker helps you continue moving forward. I chose an open adoption and have taken comfort in watching the child that I placed be given the life that I wasn’t able. I am so thankful I chose Christian Family Services to be a part of my adoption journey.
