We had the privilege of adopting two amazing children through CFS. What a great honor and responsibility! CFS is an amazing agency to work with. We are so incredibly grateful for their passion for God, children, birth parents, adoptive parents, and honest communication. Every person involved is loved throughout the entire process and even afterward.
While the process was not without some stress and unforeseen surprises, our social worker remained in contact providing updates and information along the way. We never felt alone. Both adoption situations were very different, and both have added tremendous joy to our lives. How do we even describe the magnitude of getting to witness the birth of a precious baby girl we would then get to parent, or receiving an unexpected phone call about another sweet baby girl we got to adopt the very next day, or maintaining a relationship with a very special birth mom? Our adoption experiences have shaped our character, helped us trust God, and allowed us to have an amazing family to share life with.
